About the Artist

LO Pador Luce is an emerging interdisciplinary artist based in Upstate New York. Drawing from her faith and her multicultural upbringing — born in Germany, Philippine ancestry, and raised on a military base in Upstate New York — she creates a window to a dynamic dimension or world that inspires wonder. Her work captures the quintessence of this life and beyond while bringing focus to the significance of “play”. She strings together a story by using various mediums, highlighting the importance of both the minutiae and grandeur in being.
Though primarily self taught, LO had the opportunity to study visual arts for her final year at Houghton University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts in 2013. She will be attending The University at Albany for her Masters of Fine Art in Studio Art, starting Fall 2025. LO has had several solo exhibitions including Pader ng Sining “Wall of Art” at the Filipino American Community of Colorado Cultural Center, Edgewater, Colorado and Lumulutang Lupa “Floating Earth” (Tagalog) at Town Hall Collaborative, Santa Fe Arts District, Denver, Colorado. Public installations include Lumulutang Lupa 1 “Floating Earth” 1 (Tagalog) at Town Hall Collaborative, Santa Fe Arts District, Denver, Colorado. In October 2023, LO was chosen as one of the first artists to participate in USA Today 2024 Award winning new festival - Troy Art Block; where 28 murals were created as an open air gallery in Troy, NY. She participated in the group exhibition, Threads in June 2024 with Albany Center Gallery, Albany NY. LO Pador Luce currently lives and works in the Capital Region of New York.
